Not what I was expecting

I just received mine today and very disappointed the jar isn’t glass like the description shows.
Will have to go thru the hassle to return item.
I wanted a blender with a glass jar.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great looking product

We just bought this. We have quite a number of KitchenAid products, and love the quality. However, if we had know the jar was plastic and not glass, we would have purchased a different blender.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pretty blue color

I purchased this in May 2020. Own a couple of KitchenAid small appliances. Was extremely disappointed in this blender. It would not mix a smoothie completely. I had to constantly take the lid off and stir the ingredients. Nothing too extreme, coconut almond milk, frozen banana, frozen pineapple and a couple of ice cubes. After a month of incomplete smoothies I called the company and voiced my concerns. I also noticed that the blender did not fit securely on the base. They seem to think the problem was with the way the blender and base wasn’t a tight fit. They sent me a replacement and I sent the original back. I have decided to not open the replacement and send it back for a credit. Looking at the K400 blender. May decide to give that one a try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was worried that I was buying a blender with such low power. However, so far, I am delighted with it. It has worked perfectly and I have been able to crush very dense vegetables.It is easy to use and clean and is very compact.

Great Blender with Ice crushing feature!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the color of this blender as I have the one in powder blue. It looks vintage! It is very sturdy and heavy duty. I crushed ice for slushees and mixed drinks and the container holding the ice itself is still shiny, clear, and beautiful - no scratches! The ice blends QUICKLY and seamlessly. It must be due to the special shape and direction of the blades. Easy to clean. There are 3 levels of power. The only reason I don't give this 5 stars is that the rubber piece on top of the container holding the ice is hard to take off once you finish blending. At least I know that cover piece will never come flying off. Also, I wish the container itself was a bit larger? For bigger blending jobs? All in all, entire blender is sturdy and reliable, and looks great on my countertop as a functional and much used appliance.
I would recommend this to a friend!

crushes ice and is quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am one who does TONS of research and reads reviews before I purchase anything online. I wanted a blender that would crush ice to make protein shakes. I am very happy with this blender. It doesn't take up lots of counter space, it is quiet and doesn't move around when it is on and it is easy to clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!
