Quiet and easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I make a protein shake every morning and this blender is so much quieter than my previous (different brand) blender, even when on the fastest speed. It mixes the peanut butter, powder, and frozen banana very quickly and completely. My husband uses it to mix almonds, raisins, and coconut into a paste for Peshwari naan. The lid is secure and doesn't leak, but at the same time it is easy to remove (unlike my previous blender where prying the lid off was a struggle).

Quiet Yet Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first time I used my new blender, I was amazed at the power it has even on the lowest setting. It's summer smoothie season and this blender does the job, easily blending the frozen fruit. My guests commented on how quiet it is - much quieter than the blenders they have. At first I was missing having a glass jar like my old KitchenAid model, but now I'm adjusting to the plastic jar. It's much lighter to handle for cleaning and pouring. So far, so good. Time will be the true test.

The One and Only

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve tried many blenders (including the very expensive ones), and this is the only one that makes my morning smoothies rich and creamy. I had blueberries and raspberries languishing in the freezer until I came back to the Kitchen Aid blender. It’s the best!

SO Disappointed

I bought this a few weeks ago to replace an old one I bought at Good Will many years ago. I make smoothies for breakfast and specifically purchased this one because it was intended for crushing ice. Unfortunately, this was a huge waste of money. I have to wait for my frozen fruits to thaw and become soft and mushy in order for this blender to properly blend it. Whenever they're frozen (even using the pulse setting) the blades get stuck and it turns off. I've reverted to using my old Good Will blender to make my smoothies. I think this one is fine if you just need to do some light blending or crush soft foods, but it is not great for crushing ice even a little.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
