This is the best sleeping bag I've ever owned. I just had it up at 9,500 feet in Colorado. It was -4 degrees outside overnight. I had this bag, on top of the Insulated Static V Luxe XL Sleeping Pad on top of my cot. We were in a wall tent with a Mr. Buddy heater, but it was too cold for the heater to make a dent in my big wall tent. I slept like a baby, warm the whole night - socks, t-shirt, underwear and a hat. I was amazed. I had packing blankets and a few other emergency/what-if gear just in case; I needed none of it. I like that this is pretty much a square bag yet has the elastic bands that hug the bag around you. I could stretch out or roll over and the bag moves around you. I've slept 16 nights in this bag so far in various conditions and will tell everybody I know about this unit of a bag. Just awesome.

Very warm sleeping bag

I’ve used this sleeping bag a few times in Georgia. This bag is very soft and comfortable to the touch. And it will definitely keep you warm. It was almost to warm for the weather I chose to bring it in (that’s my fault, not the bag). Compacts super tight and small. It fits snuggly in the bottom of my Hyper Light Wind rider bag. Only thing that worries me is I can see over time me tearing the stitching on the straps of the stuff sack. I make a conscious effort to be careful as I’m winching them tight. But don’t let that deter you away from the bag. We’ll worth the purchase.

Idaho high-country

Used this bag on an Idaho high-country hunt in early October. Temps dropped into the mid teens at night in the mountains. My sleeping arrangement was a foam thermal pad, a thin soft foam pad for comfort, then my sleeping bag. I also used a polyester bag liner to keep the bag cleen. Slept in my wool base layers and sometimes in my clothes. Our tent was an open bottomed heat tent with a wood burner. I stayed comfortable and warm every night. Loved the bag so much I bought a second one.

Good bag

I’ve used this bag on two hunts around 9500 ft. With lows down to the teens. I was pleasantly surprised how warm I was each night. I woke up a few times sweaty and had to unzip the bag to cool off. It is as warm as advertised. The reason I don’t give it a 5/5, is the size and weight. The compression straps help with the size some. I also wish Klymit hadn’t replaced down on the bottom with synthetic. The justification is that it stays lofted better, but I suspect it was cheaper. This would have decreased the weight. Overall a good buy.

I was looking for a warm, comfortable and spacious bag. I was not worried at all about weight. This bag has hit those 3 items perfectly.

Recently took it on a hunting trip it kept me warm but only tested it in temps down to 20. On warmer nights it did not breath the greatest there were a couple mornings I woke up and the top of the outside of the bag was wet. I believe from me sweating and it not breathing great. That didn't cause any issues because the weather wasn't bad and it was dry by the time I went to sleep at night

this bag got tested out at 9,000 feet elevation in the Sanger de Cristo mountains at 32 degrees. Wearing thin underwear and a T shirt. Never more comfortable, and very little cold air pockets. the head rest system is stellar. you can easily put a blow up pillow inside the bag and zip in comfortably
