Very Warm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this bag all last year into late November and it was very warm, almost too warm for early season, I have not done any back packing trips with it yet so I am not sure on the weight of it as far as packing it in a backpack.

Big Boy Warmth

I’m a big guy. 6 feet tall and 270 pounds with 44 shoulders. Mummy bags tend run way too tight for me and only allow for sleeping on my back.
This bag changes all of that. The bag is roomy even with my large frame. The cinching elastic around the legs keeps the volume down while allowing for ease of movement for changing positions. The two way zipper allows you to air out the bottom of the bag while keeping snug up top.
The construction of the bag is brilliant. The synthetic insulation below adds comfort underneath while the down top is light and warm. Yes the bag is heavy, but the included stuff sack swallows it without too much work and let’s be honest. It’s for larger people.
Love the bag and look forward to many nights out in it.

High level design and execution

Used this 0 degree bag in harsh White Mountain conditions during the winter. Woke up in the morning not wanting to get out of the bag!. The way it condenses and "accordions" together adds more material and warmth to you while you sleep. The mummy style actually works and helps considerably in cold temps. My only gripe is the large size it compresses to in the sack. Can't complain given its performance for the price.

Overall Great Bag

Bag was incredibly warm. Used it on an Elk Hunting trip in Montana with temps in the single digits. We stayed in a wall tent with minimal heat. Only problem I had was the zipper. Plastic guide piece broke off first use and have to be careful with fabric getting caught in zipper. Overall a great bag for the money.
