Bright and light

I am amazed at the brightness, but love the dimming. The thing feels so light it's no problem to wear for a long time.
The only issue I have is the switch, which is overly well-protected by the little wall around it. I have to search to find the button and then it's a bit hard to push. I know you don't want accidental activation of the lamp, but intentional activation is inhibited.
Overall I love the light. I might be able to move along the learning curve and make the button work easier.

Best headlamp I've ever used

I absolutely LOVES me my headlamps, and this, hands down, is the best one I've ever seen. The battery pack on the rear is a major plus, and so is the lightweight, slick design. The USB recharge feature is AMAZINGLY beneficial. I could go through three AAA batteries in a single afternoon with my old lamp, but the Biolite just needs to be plugged in and it's charged in an hour or so. One of the things I most hate about battery powered headlamps it how the brightness begins to fade when the batteries are close to halfway spent. The Biolite keeps it's full 330 lumen brightness right up to the moment it dies. For headlamp enthusiasts, this thing is nothing short of a miracle.

Not so good

It is comfortable, it does have ample adjustment, and does provide good light. It is absolutely not water resistant as I found out tonight. Rain fried it in less than 15 minutes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Battery is defective

Backed this headlamp on kickstarter. Bought two of them. One out of the box stopped working after a month. After charging the battery and using the light for 5 minutes the LED's drop from fully charged to one flashing. That one out of the box was never used more than 6 times.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Headlight 330

I bought within the past 7 months i have hardly used the light late July I had planned to summit pikes peak I started 4am to give me plenty of time to summit. I made sure I charged light and within 40 min on low settings it was about dead lucky for me I had a little pen light from streamlight glad I had that in my pack because I would been, well just a bad experience streamlight 5star bio light well ill spend my money somewhere else

This is the best headlamp I’ve ever worn and I recommend it. It is a bit pricey and buyers should know the battery pack is on the back of the band and is big enough you can’t lay down and read comfortably.

I loved it until I didn't.

Although I bought it a while ago, I have not used it all that much and never for a long period of time, but now it won't hold a charge! When it worked it was great, fit well, with everything they promised. But it is too expensive to be not working after maybe 30 uses.

Love it, but the battery is maybe losing its oomph

I love my Biolite headlamp, I live in Alaska so running in the dark is a 6 months+ reality for me (morning trails in the woods). I love the brightest setting, it really helps me see especially in the dark fall, before the snow lights up the place. BUT, I have had my headlamp for maybe 3 years now, 2 for sure, and the brightest setting won't "stay" it fads to a lower level of brightness quite quickly and I have to reset it to the bright setting. Is this a reality of the age of it? Or a fluke?
I would recommend this to a friend!
