Doesn’t work after one use

Very disappointed. It worked once for a backpacking trip and I loved it. Very comfortable, very bright. But I just took it with me this weekend to another backpacking trip and it is completely non-functioning. It is 100% charged the lock is off according to the instructions and it just won’t turn on. I press the on button and the battery pack responds by showing me the battery level but the light never turns on. So I was stuck up on a mountain with no headlamp for an entire weekend. I’ve owned many different headlamps by many different brands and I’ve never had this happen. I’ve lost any confidence I previously had in this brand of headlamp. Biolite, please fix this and I’ll update my review.

Love the brightness but charge lasted only 1.5-2 nights at camping. Too bad
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great little headlamp, I have 3 now because they’re just so useful. Lightweight too, I did have to have one replaced after getting cleaner in it, so I’m not sure how great they would be in the rain, but I love mine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

bought for backpacking and realize I cannot use it

I did not realize it could ONLY be recharged by USB. I thought you could also use regular batteries, so this will have to stay someplace that has electricity. Carrying an extra pack to recharge will not be practical for my trip, and I will NEED lighting for 10 days.

Hey Alison, sorry this didn't work out for your trip. I'd encourage you to check out our Charge 20 PD; this battery bank is nearly as small as a pack of replacement batteries would be, and it should provide enough backup power for your needs. Give us a shout at support@bioliteenergy.com if you need any other tips!

It does not work. I charged it fully but it will only flash red once. Would give it a zero if possible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
