Best headlight which solves all typical weaknesses

Extremely light with weight distributed well and balanced front/back. Particularly like easy tilt angle select, common "mode" memory when turning on/off (no need to cycle through all possible modes every time) and excellent dimming

This headlamp is the best I've ever owned by far. It stays put, doesn't slip and hit my nose. The charge is very long and I don't have to fuss with little screwdrivers and batteries. I love that it can be recharged!! I bought 2 more for my husband and daughter, and I'm saving up to buy a fourth for my 8 year old, because I know they are worth the money.

Great for trail running

I work night shift so I typically run trails at night on my days off. This light has been great for me so far. I use the dimmer flood light to navigate the trails but have the spot light available when I get spooked.
Tonight I forgot to charge it after my previous run. I thought I’d have enough battery for two runs but I got stranded in the dark tonight and had to use my smart watch light to get back home. This light does not seem to have the reserve feature I thought it did. I had cross shopped this to the 750 that does have that feature. I still give this light 5 stars because me getting stranded was my fault. I will be buying a tiny backup light to carry now. A reserve feature may be nice to add on future models!
Regardless I love the light. The fit, weight and rechargability is great. Maybe next year I’ll get myself the 750.

good light, bad battery

I was really excited about this headlamp until I quickly realized that this headlamp needs to be charged more often than most others. It was very disappointing that it didn't last for more than a few evenings of moderate use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am a trail runner and bought this headlamp specifically for that purpose. What attracted me to it is it's form factor, the fact that its lightweight and well balanced, as well as very comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. I used this headlamp for several trail runs without an issue but then all of a sudden the power button started malfunctioning. If I can press it at just the right angle with just the right amount of pressure it *might* turn on. IF I can get it to turn on it will then spontaneously turn off. I'm lucky to have found this out in the comfort of my own home rather than out on the trails, but it was a bummer to discover that I can no longer rely on it. A headlamp should be something you never have to worry about working properly and that you can depend on. It can be the difference between safely navigating a dark trail or injuring yourself (or worse!). I was really hopeful that this would be THE one, but I guess it's back to the drawing board. :(

This is my Second Biolight 330..I bought my first 3 years ago. I love the this light, it is lightweight, easy to change from one light setting to another has lots of lumen for the activities I do...my main reason for buying the second one the first lost most of it's elastic in the band and became hard to adjust ...i think after 3 years of a LOT of use I am ok with that. I do astrophotography and I love the RED light feature and the fact that once in that mode it will go back on after off to the red light . For the money it has been the BEST light i have purchased in the last 10 years.
