I purchased this for dog walks at night, but it ended up also replacing my book-light for reading in bed - the red light function is so convenient at night!
Being able to adjust the angle of the light is very handy as well. This headlamp feels over-engineered in the best ways.

Very comfortable. Almost forgot I was wearing it. I feel like the build materials could be a little sturdier and I wish the red light was a little bit brighter, but still a good headlamp for the price, especially if you already pack a battery bank for your rechargeable gear.

Nice headlamp to read with. I love the original headlamp, but did find that laying in bed or on the couch to read was uncomfortable due to the battery pack in the back. This one is pillow friendly. I'm happy to have 2 styles of biolite headlamps, depending on what you are using them for. I really enjoy the rechargeable aspect of these headlamps as well.

The headlamp seems very good so far. My only concern is that the on/off button seems a little small and not easy to locate to use, especially with cold fingers. It will likely become easier as I get used to it.

My very first headlamp and I'm in love! All the others I've tried were heavy and did not fit comfortably on my head.
One thing to improve: the button is hard to press.

The light is super bright and it's great you can charge it; so no more buying expensive lithium batteries. Only complaint is that you have to adjust the headband every time you put it on your head, the band comes loose if you move it around.

Wonderful item! Light, comfortable and quite bright. The main button is just a bit tough to depress and it takes a few tries to manage correctly. Still a very useful headlamp.
