The headband will not stay inplace. I have to constantly re-adjust to fit my head. This is very anoying.

Very lightweight and fuctional

Product is super lightweight, hardly notice it is there. I've used it for three early morning workouts thus far (running and boot camp style fitness). The light intensity and span is also quite good, providing excellent visibility. Fit is snug, and while easy to adjust the size, the setting holds well during a variety of outdoor exercise moves (trail running, burpees, etc.). Only drawbacks are the charging port, which is tight to access around the silicone flap, and the battery indicator, which uses a set of colored flashes to advise on battery storage and not the four light circles found on the other Biolite headlamp and other Biolite products. Unaware of a low battery state, my light went dead during a 5am trail run through the woods.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a great headlamp. It has already come in useful on the side of the road and walking on the beach at night. It’s is a very comfortable design. Lighter than the 330 model. There are fewer lighting options than the 330, but this is easily acceptable with the 200’s size and compact nature. This is becoming my favorite headlamp. While it is rechargeable, the only other headlamp that outperforms this one is an older one that is waterproof. Maybe in the future, there will be a fully submersible model that I can try because I do quite a lot of paddle boarding and kayaking.

Loved it at first until headband last elasticity

I purchased this headlamp in late 2019. To be short, I will just list my thoughts below in bullet form:
Pros:
- easy to use
- very light weight (I forgot I was wearing it at times)
- comfortable
- long lasting battery with multiple light settings
- charges quickly
- nice choice of colors to choose from

Cons:

I absolutely loved this headlamp but am disappointed with the simple fact that I can no longer use the headlamp due to the elasticity of the band. My head is a 7 1/4 (or so) and I cannot get the lamp to stay on my head anymore. I wish there was a way to cinch the band more but I have it as cinched as it can get.
If you are going to use this lamp during activities that cause you to sweat, the band will not tolerate it for too long before going limp (and you cannot easily wash/clean the band). I now have an awesome light that I can hang from the ceiling or a hook and use as an overhead light but not as a headlamp.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bright!

Got home after dark. Just received my new headlight so put it right on. Wow! Was it bright! Had to dim it to feed my goats and shut my chicken coop. It way overpowered the feed room where the light was out. Being curious, I turned the brightness back up to see if it would be bright enough to see the barn over 250' away. YES! Plus lit up the field leading to it. I'm impressed! Sizing down to my head then back up to go over my stocking cap was a simple slide and it held position. Thank you guys for yet another great product! Can't wait to use it camping but you can't beat it for winter chores!

Lightweight, Bright & Comfortable

This headlamp can be worn for extended periods of time without even feeling it's there. I have many different headlamps, my optometrist has told me that with my vision, light is my friend. The 200 lumens white light this headlamp puts out is surprisingly bright and the light quality is very crisp. The red light is perfect for stargazing. I like that both white and red lights can be dimmed. Both the white and red light have a flashing mode. The head strap has a reflective stripe and the Biolite logo on the side is also reflective. The stripe on the back is helpful when walking or jogging helping to be seen by others driving up from behind you.
Aside from how great this headlamp is I purchased this new headlamp because I'm well aware of the Biolite brand, the standard of quality of the products sold, the excellent customer care and the mission vision & values of the company. All of which are always top notch!

A decent light. The 200 has it's good points and bad points (for me anyway).
First good points. White light is very bright at the highest level, great feature for joggers. With the strobe effect it's very disorienting, great feature to use if you need to get away from someone in a hurry or as a signal for people to locate you, if lost. I tried the dimming feature. Great for campers or hikers with limited space for gear (don't forget the stuff sack).
The red light, great for night walking in the woods. Doesn't startle most animals. The dimming feature is AWESOME. Wished the 330 had it. Great feature for hunters heading out to there hunting spot, (yes I am a hunter). Use full level for following trails before sunrise then low level at spot or stand for checking compass and area maps or gear (only the sharpest of eyes will know where you are). The strobe effect, another great feature for signal or announcing your location to friends or search parties.
Now the bad. The adjustment clips never stayed in the same position after I removed the headband. I always had to re-adjust when placing back on my head.
If you're like me and you purchased the Headlamp 330 first, there will be a minor adjustment period for finding the "on" switch. Unlike the 330's which is offset to the right from the center of the light (wearing on your head). the 200's is in the center.

Headlamp 200

As always, I am pleased with the innovative BioLite products. The control button is a big improvement over the previous model.
The only negative I’ve found is the headband slowly loosens and has to be readjusted after about 30 minutes of activity .
The headlamp 200 has definitely won a place in my pack this year !
