It very lightweight on the head and does not bounce around. Love that it’s USB chargeable, but it’s not clear how far the usb is supposed to be pushed in. Potential for over pushing. No click to indicate it’s properly inserted.

Comfort meets function

Having missed out on the first HeadLamp, I jumped at the opportunity to try the new version. First off, this is the most comfortable headlamp I have ever worn! It is very easy to adjust to fit your head or over a wool hat. Took a test walk with the dog around our unlit neighborhood and I could see very clearly and felt visible to on coming cars as well. The red light will be great for camping and night fishing.

The new Headlamp 2000 is lighter and easier to stash than the original. It’s plenty bright and I find myself using it more often since I stuff it in the bag I frequently use. Another win from the BioLite team!

Compared to earlier model is lighter, don’t like the battery pack in the back of the older model. I liked the battery level gauge of the older model and the head band adjuster.

It is nice and light and the easy adjest straps were great. The red light option is nice to have as the white spot is incredibly bright. Around the campsite, all I needed was the red.

Love the concept - but question the construction

I like how lightweight and bright this headlamp is. However after 4 uses the power button has disappeared - fallen out of the light somehow. I have to turn it on and off now with a small screwdriver or key tip.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
