Good for running but hard to control in mid-run

Pros:. Bright, unbelievably lightweight, simple to use and adjust. Fixed angles are well chosen and light holds the selected angle tightly.
Cons:. Needs a little extra padding against the forehead behind the light. Stiff button and low hinge makes the light very difficult to actuate (i.e. turn on/off or adjust setting) while on the run.

Bright, comfortable light, with only one problem

This light is very comfortable, gives a lot of light for the size. The only problem is the function button. Its hard to operate. Both my wife and I have the same problem so I know that it's not just me. We have a lot of Biolite products and really like the build quality, this is not quite up to their usual standard.

The following is my initial impression after using a couple of times: When I read the review for this headlamp in a cycling magazine recently, I was excited at the prospect of a 200 lumen headlamp for walking my dog at night in my coyote infested neighborhood. It seems as if this light could use some refining as the headband loosens easily and is not as secure as my trusty Petzl and the on/off switch requires reading the instructions a couple of times to figure out - I still haven't figured out how to switch directly to low beam to use for a longer battery time. I am optimistic they will be refining this product as with any new product intro, things can always be improved.

Great light and it works well. My only issue is with the strap, that will not stay tightened so it just falls off your head.

This headlamp didn’t live up to my expectations or the advertising. I got a headlamp to use in my workshop and while it’s super bright for about 15-20 minutes it starts to fade thereafter and only holds a charge for about an hour or one and a half hours; certainly not the 3hrs it claims on the packaging. Speaking of packaging, for a company that’s supposedly so eco-friendly, I was disappointed to see the one I just got for my wife as a Xmas stocking stuff wrapped in a cocoon of plastic and then a cardboard outer-layer.
On the “bright side,” the headlamp charges fast and is definitely “lite” so it’s probably better for an after dark jog but not for camping.

Nice features, but issues

I have owned this headlamp for 3 months with limited use for work and play. Although many of the features are positive, quality of light, minimal weight and easy head band adjustment, I do have issues with the product. I'm lucky if I get 3 hours of illumination on the brightest setting after a full charge. If I use the lamp for a couple of short duration usages at it's brightest (3-10 minute periods over a week), it's requires recharging again. As well the rubber flap the covers the USB port is easily dislodged from the closed positioning and the actual USB port is awkward to insert the charging cord.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent fit/ Extremely comfortable

I just got this today. I have to say that the fit is spot on! When they say it is comfortable, they are not lying. I like the portability, the colors, and especially the brightness for such a small light. The memory /last save mode is fantastic, and the locking feature is forward-thinking! I will likely be buying more! The small size and comfort is why I bought it as well as the ability to recharge. A+
