Not a fan

Received this phone and it is big, bulky and heavy. I ordered online and it gave screen length but the weight is rediculous and is not thin. Phone worked for 24 hrs and then started to continuously power off and not restart for hours. I would love to send it back and find something different but of course stores are not open. I have been an LG fan forever starting with the G2 and I am so hating this device, not sure what LG was thinking with this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This phone is awesome! We bought it at a time where you could get the dual screen for free. My boyfriend loves the features and it’s easy use. He’s a contractor so the dual screen is awesome for drawing out designs and comparing/contrasting.

It's a great phone, but I don't know if it's really working on the mobile 5g.

Huge upgrade from the S10+

Huge upgrade from the S10+. I never liked the S10+, and only picked it because my wife got one. I really missed my LG V20, and decided to go for the flagship V60 as soon as I got the chance. I've been using it over a week and I have to say I am extremely impressed. The phone just feels right in my hand. LG is one of the few phone makers that goes WIDE as well as tall, and with big hands that's pretty important.
Software experience is very buttery. Everything is smooth. I love the new gestures for back/home/etc. It's actually a lot like iOS in that regard. Many of the pre-installed apps can actually be DELETED and not just disabled which is a major plus. There is a LOT of bloatware on this device the first time you turn it on.
Cameras are exceptional as long as you know what you are doing. I set it to manual for video and photo and come off with some really great shots. Paired with an external lens kit, and you're in DSLR territory. Other than the width, the camera is the one feature I looked at in reviews. It's in a totally different league than the S10+ if you know what you're doing. AR also works very well. Only thing I miss....and this is something I can accomplish with a third party app...is the MyAvatar! It was available on other LG phones, so where is it on the V60!?! Silly, I know, but it was a fun little feature.
Gaming is flawless. Paired with the second screen and using the gamepad app that comes with it, it's a great experience. I never liked playing with touch controls, but moving them to the second screen...That's a game changer. Reminds me of the Xperia Play! from years ago. It's definitely more enjoyable than carting around an XBOX controller or using my FlyDigi. I will always prefer physical gaming controls, but this is a decent alternative. Nothing extra to carry around, either.
Now...One thing I will be carrying around is my Bamboo Stylus. Seriously, LG needs to make it more widely known that this phone can be used with an actual stylus. I've already installed all my art and note taking apps. The experience is similar to my old Note 4 EXCEPT I've got two large screens and the stylus is comfortable to hold. Pressure sensitivity is there, there is hardly any input lag, and there isn't enough of a gap between stylus tip and screen to make it feel weird. It's closer to the experience of writing on an iPad with the Apple Pencil than it is to using a Note.
This is the first time I've been truly happy with a phone since I gave my V20 to my mom. I actually just gave her the S10+ and got my V20 back...Haha

The Best of Android Devices

I absolutely love this device. By no means is it perfect, but what it does well it does amazingly well.
The headphone/DAC is amazing and you can absolutely tell the difference. The screen is 1080p, but I don't notice much of a difference coming from a Note 10+, but that's just my perspective, I'm sure there are some pixel peepers that might notice it. The battery lasts for a long time. I have not had to worry about needing to top up my battery during the day. It easily makes it an entire day with about 30-40% left at the end of the day. This is with average to high usage, generally 4-6 screen on time. Photos come out great, not as saturated as my Note 10+ but still great. Video is also nice.
Also, I received my Dual Screen incredibly quick after I registered for it. The initial email I received said it might take 3-6 weeks. It was at my door in less than a week. The dual screen is fantastic. I love having my music app open while I am browsing my social feeds or messaging. The game pad mode, and landscape keyboard is also great to use. I love the outside of the Dual Screen, give you time, date, and notifications. I think it's great how you get a large icon of whatever app just buzzed your phone so you can see what kind of notification you just got.
The phone with Dual Screen is a little heavy, and a bit bulky, but nothing that is unmanageable. Closest thing I could compare it to is if you ever had an Otterbox on a device, but this is giving you a second screen.
The UI is decent, my only wish is that I could change the swipe down on home screen from giving my a search menu to pulling down the notification shade.
It's a great device, and an easy recommendation for anyone looking to upgrade to a stellar device that has all the bells and whistles.

"BIGGER" phone for bigger hands

I LOOOOVE this phone! I was soooo excited, that I paid a little early to trade-in for this phone. See, I have big hands, and, back in the day, I also had the Galaxy Mega 6.3 inch phone at the time, it was a great fit for me...hands wise. I wasn't getting hand cramps from having a smaller phone. So, now, this phone is just over 3 inches wide, and, comes in at 6.8 inches long...perfect once again for my hands. I've only had it for a few days, but, I know I like it already. The picture quality is awesome...and steady. Not a lot of movement or "shaking" like the other phones I've owned. I love the fact that when you close an app or the internet, it closes for good, and, you don't have to go back and close everything you were just in. Battery life is phenomonal! Even after having my 4G on for most of my 8-hour work day, and, using Facebook, as well as playing some games, it would still be about 75-80% when I got home.
I would definitely recommend anyone who needs a bigger phone due to having big hands to get this one. It still feels light to hold, even with a phone case on it. THANK YOU LG FOR MAKING A PHONE this big!
