I just have issues with this router, I have found out the 2.4Ghz band is really bad can’t hold connection, drops and kicks you out especially if you’re outside yet it shows you have full bars when looking for your network but when you try and join it’ll say unable to join because of 2.4Ghz band the 5Ghz is fine. I’ve tried everything, resetting, trying stock firmware because I always use Merlin Firmware which I recommend using, I’ve also tried recommend settings and fixed channels nothing works. Save your money and buy it on a different router

Initial setup is quick and the web UI is responsive. The blue LED lights can be turned off which makes it great for use in a bedroom. It is able to sustain >100MB/s file copies with an Intel AX210 equipped laptop. Not much else to ask of it.

Easy fix to weak telus hub wifi in condo

Streaming 1080p and 4k contents have been met with multiple pauses and resets. Telus hub is in an enclosed panel inside a closet and needs to pass through several walls and appliances to the living room. This router strengthens the connection and now I can stream a full movie without any pauses to buffer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy Setup

I took it out of the box and 10 minutes later it was up and running. This is great Router for this is a house with 3 bedrooms on the main floor and the Landlord has a 2 bedroom suite in the basement and reception is excellent anywhere in the house. Asus products are the way to go and you always get your moneys worth whenever you purchase ANY product from Asus

After having problems with our WiFi server we decideded to check the longevity of our router. We were shocked to discover the life span is only three to four years, that identified our seven year old router as the culprit of our problems.
The difference the new router has made is astounding. We are both in our eighties and were still able to setup and install the router on our own.

Works great

I'm using this as a dedicated wireless router to use with my Quest 3 for PCVR. Works great i get zero lag. Very easy to setup 15 mins and you're up and running. You need the application to set it up.

Drop in replacement for an access point

Used the unit to replace a "bridged" access point. Was easy to figure out the terminology as the terms meanings have morphed in the past 5 years with the different manufacturers calling the same function with different names.
Nice and easy to set up. Works well.
