Small but mighty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love all the settings on this dishwasher. Fits alot for being half the size of a regular dishwasher. Easy to clean and haven't had any issues with its cleaning abilities, especially since I typically don't rinse dishes before loading.

New Model Seems Cheaper Than Old One

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently replaced my aging dishwasher and, frankly, I'm disappointed. The new one seems very "plastic" and has NO chance of getting to the 23 year mark that my old one did. And, don't get me started about how awful the bottom rack & silverware basket are, they are basically non-functional (i.e. no way to wash a cookie sheet) and dinner places "nest" on each other regardless of how I load them. Old unit had two detergent holders, one for pre-wash and another for the longer wash cycle, this one has only one very small cup. Overall, this unit is FAR less functional and seemingly durable than my unit that I got circa 1998....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Frigidaire 18" dishwasher. It will handle a lot of dishes/pots/pan in a load and does a wonderful job getting everything clean. Takes a little learning process of placement, but it gets easier as you learn. You do need to use the rinse aid as it really does help dry the dishes better. I have found the one-hour clean cycle works for me, it does a fantastic job cleaning and drying without the dry cycle. And the big plus with this

Cheaper and cheaper for a similar price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our first Frigidaire 18 inch dishwasher was pretty solid. It ran for about 13 years before it died. We replaced it with the same, but the second one only lasted barely 5 years and did not succeed with two repair attempts before we replaced it. We actually planned for our third dishwasher not to be a Frigidaire, but some unfortunate circumstances with our retailer made it necessary to pick the easiest dishwasher to quickly install in our current spot in the kitchen, so we went with a third Frigidaire against our better judgment.
Cheap, flimsy construction. A front control console with black on dark gray buttons in tiny letters that is nearly impossible to read. Interior racks much worse than either of the two models before it, and seemingly designed by someone that never uses any dishes in their life. The washing cycles are minimally adequate, so I guess we are stuck with it. The countdown timer is the only improved feature that I have noticed.
