Not so good.

I had one for quite a few years until the burner went out and because of equipment changes I couldn’t find a replacement. My kids decided to get me a new one and with in 2 years the burner started tripping the GFI. So no longer working. Since it is electric I don’t know if a new element will really fix the problem. Always kept covered and cared for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

DONT BUY!!!!! Doesn’t get to 500 or maintain temp

I bought this a week ago after reviewing a few electric grills
Was very happy when I bought as it seems VERY sturdy and well built
UNTIL
You try to use it, I had to preheat for an hour just to reach 450 NOT the 500 it should
THEN
I put 3 split chicken breasts on the girl and the temp dropped 100 to 350 and never went back up

I regret having bought that product. It doesn't heat up at all. It is not powerfull enough.
Barely good for hot dog only and even then.. As a matter of fact, Canadian Tire does not offer this product any more.

Love the grill, but not cleaning the grate

The grill is a great grill for our condo where gas grills are not allowed. My only issue is that too much food gets stuck to the grate and the clean-up is not easy
I would recommend this to a friend!

Takes for ever to heat

I followed their grilling instructions for steaks, which says. 4-6 minutes each side for 1.5-2” steaks. Steaks were at room temp and had it cranked to high(5). It took more than 10 minutes on highest setting to get grill marks on one side. It took 15 minutes to get grill marks on the other side. 25 minutes for medium steaks? Takes forever to get heat back up once you open it. Additionally, I just spent a hour grilling 5 small chicken thighs. Outside is too cooked with thinner parts dried out but thicker parts still raw. Had to cut off the thin parts and throw the rest of the thighs into the oven to finish cooking. Additionally, I’m using a 15 amp short extension cord. Cord gets super hot.

I have use this 3 times and having problems maintaining the temperature when I open the lid to put the food in.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The temperature will drop when the lid is open. Allowing the food to come to room temperature before adding it to the grill will allow the grill to come back up to the desired temp more quickly.

this my 2nd one.i cook seafood only!works great on fish fillets,shrimp.won't keep the heat in colder weather[nov.thru march]you open the lid and it won't come back up too cooking temp.the main complaint is the electric element wears out.HIGH cost of replacement,if you can find the part in stock.[like certain cars I own]

Grilled well, not durable

I really like this grill while it lasted. It did a really good job of cooking chicken and sausages without drying the meat out. However, after the second summer, the whole thing fell apart. All the screws came lose. The lid fell off. The wheels fell off. And the heating element no longer works. I liked this, but it was not built to last. I will stick to charcoal for my next grill so there are less things that can break
