Heats up slowly, doesn't hold heat

Had a previous model for years and loved it. Hate this one. It heats up slowly and doesn't hold heat when opened. Cannot get temperature back up to grilling temp after putting food on. Will sear one side and then bakes the other. Would not recommend.

Is very good when it is clean but to clean it is really a nightmare. Is not only my opinion but all of those who bought it are really disappointed and have the same problem.

Worked great until it didn't

Great grill when it works. Very happy with ease of use, no propane, and quality of cooking. However, after owning 2, both of which had their heating element malfunction after less than a year, we won't get another one and I can recommend it. To make the problem worse there is a 6-12 month back order on replacement heating elements.

Need some heat

Won’t get up passed 350 open the lid it goes to 200 in seconds and takes 10 min to recover to 350… I had the electric patio grill in the past and loved it… This one not so much.

Loved it, but it quit

I've had it 1 yr and it worked great, did wonderful. But it won't heat up now. It will turn on, but the heating element quit working. How do I get that part?

Some drawbacks

I’ve owned my patio bistro several years. I am happy with how it cooks food but I’m unhappy with 1)how hard it is to move for more than a few feet. 2)The electric cord is so short that I can’t move the grill away from the house or to a spot conducive to wind direction. Extension cords are forbidden. 3) Finally, the grate is extremely hard to clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

If an extension cord must be used use only outdoor type with 3 prong grounding plug, rated for 15 amperes or more, approved by UL, marked with a W and a tag stating “Suitable for Use with Outdoor Appliance”. Use the shortest length extension cord required. Do not connect 2 or more extension cords together. A 12 or 14 gauge extension cord of 50 ft. or less is acceptable. Waste of Money

I made a mistake buying this bbq by not listening to the reviews that say it doesn't heat up enough to properly grill. First and last electric bbq I will buy.

When working it was great! Replaced all electrical parts and within one month it fails to heat. Total disappointment for the cost. Company wont back repair needs after first. I would not put $ into these grills
