Good for slow cooking

It is good if you do not have to check on the meat because of heat loss and takes long to heat back up. I use is to grill fish and brisket.

Excellent Heat Retention and Recovery!!!

I researched and researched electric grills and found the best review on the Patio Bistro for my condo when I moved in. 6 years later, I am shopping for another one to take to the new condo. the heat generation and recovery is like no other. I look forward to getting the latest model and putting it to work right away!!!

The assembly instructions are simple & the grill is fantastic! No smelly, messy lighter fluid or tanks to exchange. Cooks wonderfully!

Nice gas alternative

We've had this great little grill for over 2 years and it works great. In a condo so no gas grill allowed. Used to have George Foreman grill. It was ok, but this one really works well for us. Thanks Char Broil.

We have two, instant on and instant off is very environmentally and economically appropriate! No carcinogenic issues that are very real with other cooking fuels!

Stopped Working

I used it a couple of times and it now it trips my GFI on the plug outdoors everytime.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
