Worst Char Broil Product

Grill requires approximately 40 minutes to preheat. Once lid is opened to insert items, the grill never recovers preheat temperature. Average cooking temp throughout process is less than 300 degrees even with maximum temperature. Steaks appear grayish and never sear; grill is so low that it is impossible to produce a medium rare steak. With appropriate chips, it might work as a smoker, but this is not a grill.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Well built, tuff little grill

We've had our grill for over 3 years, use it 2 times per week, and it has performed beautifully. Due to my infrequent cleaning, I've had a couple of grease fires and it continues to work well. It heats up quickly, cooks slower than gas but with few flareups, and holds it's temp well considering it's powered by an electric element. The cooking grid is showing some signs of burning out where I have my chip box (which works well with dry wood chips for smoking). With all this use it's eventually going to wear out so I'm planning to purchase a replacement before they quit making them. I have a charcoal grill I use when cooking out in the open, an electric smoker to smoke meats on the weekends, and this great little grill on my side porch for quick meals all year round.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Grill

The grill was a present from my daughter. It cooks great and easy to maintain. Only problem I have had is flare ups when cook certain meats.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this grill several months ago and really enjoying using it. Fits nicely on small lanai. There are no flare ups. Cooks evenly over entire grill. Easy to clean up. Very happy with purchase.

Have had mine a few years now. Have had to replace a couple of parts here and there, but considering the extensive use it's gotten, that's not bad. I love the convenience of turning a switch and it's on. No messing around with propane.

Best Electric Grill!!!

This is the fourth electric grill I have purchased over the past 10 years, it’s the first Char-Broil.
Due to condominium living I am relegated to non gas grills. I had previously purchased 3 other electric grills over the years and was so disappointed by their performance.
To my great surprise this Char-Broil grill almost percormans as well as a gas grill. I highly recommend this product!!
I would recommend this to a friend!
