We had a 4 burner Infrared Commercial grill and gave it away when we moved to our new home, mistake. I had switched back to a top rated kettle charcoal grill I finally decided to right a wrong.
So I went online and bought a 2 burner Infrared Commercial grill, we really didn’t require a larger one this time. Shipping was fast.

Even being handicapped I was able to assemble the grill in very little time. From unboxing to first fire up was about 2 hours. Let it warm up and burn off for about and hour on medium. After a cool down time and seasoning cycle the was time to cook.
I was back to being happy grilling again! I use a smoking tube sometimes to boost the smoke flavor. Cooking and cleaning is a breeze. NO FLARE UPS!
This is easily the best grill I’ve ever owned.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had an infrared grill previously and thought I would try a different brand as the one I had got older, boy that was a mistake. The brand I bought did not compare.

This is my third TRU-infrared grill, and they always live up to my expectations. Reliable, easy to use/assemble, takes much of the guess work out of grilling.

Actually...The older grill was a little different than this but uses the same burners, crossover tube, etc..I've used it in Panama City Beach, FL and it sits Gulf Front on the Gulf of Mexico.. It's been through a hurricane, countless storms, etc and still works like charm. I'm buying another one today for a lake house in central Alabama. I've never been sorry that I bought this grill.

This was my first Char-Broil grill, and it replaced a competitor's natural gas grill that I thoroughly enjoyed. This grill came with excellent assembly instructions, including a very easy approach to packaging all of the various components (screws, etc.). I also purchased the natural gas conversion kit, and it was also very easy to install and convert the grill from liquid propane to natural gas. I've used the grill several times now, including steaks, hamburgers, and chicken, and I've been very pleased. Food has cooked perfectly, and it's very easy to clean-up. For the money, this Char-Broil grill has more than met my expectations.

Waste of money

Worst grill I've ever owned, the grates get clogged up after cooking for less than 20min and cause a bunch of smoke. Grates are also impossible to clean. Buy this if you want to spend most of your time cleaning rather than grilling.

Looks good but that’s about it!!

I bought this a year ago in June 2019 and we use our grill probably three or four days a week at a minimum. It heats up very quickly to 600° and then it’s almost impossible to regulate it between 350 and 400 unless you put a pair of tongs or somehow To ventilate the closed lid. Almost impossible to cook on low temperatures. So your meat is burned on the outside and is raw on the inside. Even less difficult to smoke on. The biggest issue is we have our grill under a large covered porch and it is covered after every time we cook. It has never been exposed to moisture or water and the shelves on both sides including the stationary pieces are rusted and the paint has come off. All painted surfaces are rusting and peeling. We purchased a charbroil cover so it fits perfectly. So if you want to grill that you can use for just a year even when you take care of it it’s going to start rusting and the paint peeling off this is the grill for you. If you constantly want to sit out and babysit the grill in order to cook your meat halfway decently, this is the grill for you. Otherwise steer clear. We are replacing it this weekend. I am done with charbroil after many many years of constantly having to replace them or replace parts. I’ve had other brands of grills that have lasted for years.
