The second screen is a winner

I bought this laptop to hold me over until new models were released later on. It has far exceeded my expectations though. I wanted the second screen to make productivity easier, and it does not disappoint. The i7 processor is peppy, and it performs great with 8gigs of ram. While the trackpad is a bit small, I usually use a wireless mouse anyways, so that wasn't going to be an issue. Strangely, the small trackpad works really well, and doesn't seem to be a hindrance at all when I do find myself needing to use it. I did have to download the latest Screenpad Plus app to get the functionality for use with Adobe products, but that was really easy to do. An added bonus was the Asus app, which lets me connect directly to my phone, not only for calls and messaging, but also to use the laptop from my phone, transfer files, and even use my phone as an additional screen. I didn't expect that feature, but it is also surprisingly handy. My only regret is that I didn't go ahead and buy the fully loaded model, as I can see this becoming my go to laptop for taking out and about. I was sent a link to leave a review, in exchange for a 90 day warranty extension, which I am doing, but honestly I wouldn't need it if this weren't a good laptop as I would have sent it back. I'm happy to say that I am very pleased with it, and it is already making my daily work much easier.

I just had to have it when I saw the dual screens. Having the touchpad to the right of the keypad instead of below works out well. I am receiving a warranty extension from ASUS for your feedback

Amazing laptop for creators and multi-taskers

I had the UX481 and I also bought the new version UX482 and I couldn't be happier. I don't know why people say they have problems typing on the keyboard. Yes, it is offset compared to a traditional laptop but it's definitely a worthwhile compromise. There is no wasted space on the layout unlike traditional laptops. The price point is also very reasonable given the specs and definitely offers more value than any iOS laptop. This is truly an innovative product unlike a competitor which considers offering their products in different colors to be groundbreaking. Well built with a premium feeling to the materials used.

Review - UX482 - Best Laptop

I purchase this laptop after the last CES and although it has come 2 months later after the order , but I will say it is worth the wait.
Multi screen help me be more productive. I'm impressed with the Laptop build quality (Military grade) and Keyboard and Noise cancellation feature.
The Tiger lake processor is very powerful with multitasking. I will definitely recommended the beast to others.

Beautifully designed with useful features

Screen to body ratio is phenomenal. I'm still finding new ways to use the secondary touchscreen. The audio is great quality and so is the display. Battery life isn't bad either!

I recently purchased my Zenbook and I’m blown away with the ergonomics, functionally, and overall looks of this laptop. Wouldn’t do anything else moving forward.

I am actually reviewing the UX482EG in order to comply with requirements to receive a warranty extension from ASUS for my feedback.
This laptop is next level. Light, sleek, and of course the lower window makes multi-tasking for work a breeze.
I also intend to use this laptop for some basic music production/recording, and can't wait to utilize the additional screen for this as well.
So far so good!

Great for Business & Nursing School

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this laptop after my acer died 1.5 years after purchasing. A tech showed me this laptop and I was intrigued by the second monitor. After much research, I decided to purchase this and I am so glad I did. The speed is tremendous even with two Office 365 accounts, Teams, OneNote, SharePoint editing, excel, word, streaming video lecture, and surfing the internet all at the same time. I love the second bottom screen and use it to keep an eye on things such as e-mail and Teams that I need to review frequently. I would definitely recommend this laptop to students, for business, and my husband applauds its gaming ability! It is lightweight and feels very durable and has a beautiful display. Asus appears to be a great brand that stands behind their equipment and I will even a receive an warranty extension from ASUS for my feedback
