Extremely happy with new system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My alarm system and smart thermostat kept dropping. The cable guy would tell me to get a mesh system to solve the issue. After the last episode, I decided to follow their advice. I didn't know what to get so I spent quite a bit of time looking at different brands and reviews. The Orbi by Netgear was consistently given high marks. It wasn't something that I wanted to tackle on my own so I contacted a computer technician who came and installed it for me. It has been wonderful. My speeds and stability have never been better. No more droppage of alarm, tv or thermostat. The cost was a little higher than I would have liked but I wanted the issues to be solved and didn't want my speeds to be compromised. My biggest regret is not doing it sooner.

Good improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good improvement over my old RT-N66U. I like the web tools too. The only thing I miss is the way the old router made it easy to select the 2.4 vs 5Ghz network by using a unique name. One feature I would love to see is second network similar to the guest network to segregate my IOT devices from the rest of my network. I use the guest network for this now but now I lost my guest network for guests.
