Good speed and connectivity but there is no way to separate the 2.4 and 5ghz networks.

Hi John Doe the Third,
We appreciate your feedback and we want you to know that your experience is important to us. We apologize as that feature is not currently available, as your NETGEAR Orbi Unit Determines which network your device will join. These will be due to either hardware limitation of the connected devices as well as the distance between devices and your router or satellite. Please visit link for further reference: https://kb.netgear.com/000062547/Can-I-choose-if-my-Orbi-router-broadcasts-separate-WiFi-networks-for-2-4GHz-and-5GHz.
If you need further assistance, you can visit http://support.netgear.com to register your product, get help, access the latest downloads and user manuals, and join our community. We recommend that you use only official NETGEAR support resources.
Thank you, NETGEAR Team

Complete home solution
on January 22, 2022

I was skeptical whether one router and a single satellite would provide enough bandwidth for all my devices in my three bedroom home, garage, and backyard but I haven’t lost a single bar of reception since its installation two months ago. This is a great solution for a fully connected home - I highly recommend.

Awesome Router

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Orbi Wifi 6 router and satellite package has dramatically increased the coverage at my house. Beyond that, I know have the full internet speed, wirelessly, all throughout my house which I never had before. I highly recommend this mesh system to anyone looking to update their old single wifi router and take their home to the next level.

Works well and easy setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a gig coming into the house. With my old router add extender I was getting speeds of approximately 10 Mbps in my office. I bought the Orbi system and after about 5 to 10 minutes set up session, I’ve got speeds around 500 Mbps in my office!

Not easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes this would be an easy setup - however after I installed the 2-pack Orbi mesh system, it kept crashing. Tried all the reboot/power down/reset instructions with a former IBM person who KNOWS computers/wifi etc - two hours later we got fed up and I went back to limping along with my old router. What a pain. I have not yet had the courage to call netgear tech support and go through that torture - but I’ll break down soon and try that last resort.
