I recently purchased/upgraded my Orbi Whole Home Mesh WiFi 6 System. I was truly surprised how easy the transition from my old system to the new one. Total time from opening the box to complete setup was approximately 12mins. I love this product and recommend it for every home.

Original router was upstairs and did not cover all the downstairs. With the orbi mesh system (one base and one satellite) my whole home is covered.

Expensive but Great

We were having issues with our TV dropping Wifi Signal which is not good when you stream everything. no dropped signal since. My only minor complaint is that my old router had a different network for the 2g and 5g networks, this router runs both bands on one network, we had to reconfigure wifi setting on several devices to make them work correctly.

Great mesh system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been with this system 1 week and so far is great. I used to have a TP link mesh system with 5 satellites to cover my entire 3,500 sqf house and even when that I didn’t get the full speed of my internet service. I only got the full speed in the device connected directly to the moden and the max speed at the satellites was 50%. With this 3 device system, I get the full 500 mbps in my entire house. The only difference that I notice vs the TP link is the latency, which is almost as double. If I test my connect directly with the router I get 3 or 4 ms, while 9 or 10 when running the test through the Orbi. Another downside is that I cannot make work the Smart Parental Controls. I configure the devices of my kids, set the max time, block sites, etc, and nothing happens. I can still get unrestricted access to internet through my kids devices. I dont care because I have another system for this, but I would be good if the SPC works better, and more considering that you need to pay for this (I am in the 30 day trial and unless I make it work, I will not buy this service).

Impossible to install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I returned the orbi because it was impossible to install. What garbage!!! I bought a deco instead. So much better and only 10 minutes to install.

Terrible Quality
