Setup was challenging but it works very well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially I had trouble setting this up, the satellites were not behaving as they should, devices tethered to them had quite slow internet speeds, but after restarting the process and spending quite a while updating the firmware, they now behave quite well. My original intention for this system was to gain some much needed additional range for my home alarm/security system and it works beautifully for that purpose. I have had a great deal of success with them in that regard. Solid internet speeds and connections for my other devices is an added bonus. Overall I’d say a mesh wifi has been a worthwhile upgrade to my home. It’s nice having good coverage everywhere without manually needing to switch wifi networks. Internet speeds are solid, I have gigabit fiber service and at the furthest extremities of my coverage I am getting relatively solid speeds of anywhere from 200-450 mbps up/down. Overall I’d say I recommend this, it works very well, maybe not a miracle worker as far as setup or satellite speeds goes, but at this price it is most certainly a worthwhile investment if you’re struggling with wifi range and want the convenience of only one network for your home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from wifi with an extender to the Orbi mesh system which has 3 units including to satellites and it has improve the reliability of my wife I would tremendously in my home. I generally get speeds just is high as I would get from an ethernet connection in my home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After doing research on what kind of router would work best with my fiber internet, I settled on the NETGEAR Orbi. After an initial issue with the router not staying connected, I was able to get the mesh system set up through my house without any problem. The app has been great to work with, and gives me regular updates on devices that connect, and with the security trial that is offered I feel confident that my network is secure. And with the extra satellite routers I have yet to find a dead spot in the house. If I had to list a con, it is the actual size of the units, they are larger than the other mesh router systems that I had looked into, but I cannot find any issues with the performance of the Orbi system. I would recommend this system to anyone with a need for quality mesh router.

Awesome performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a long single level house. Adding Orbi and 2 Satellites gave us a super strong signal throughout the house. We stream our TV and do not experience and drop outs or buffering. Very happy with Orbi!
