Overall it’s okay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The setup was a bit of a mess with the app. I had to plug into the router and log in locally to get everything set up. I kept the same name and password of my old wifi so it helped with the cut over. The speed and performance is awesome so far. I have 2 separate housing units on 4 acres in the middle of nowhere and still have great coverage so far.

Definitely an improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My internet speeds were okay but definitely wanted to upgrade to something that would give better range in my house I recently bought. After installing the router and calling the IPS to shake hands with the new router, it’s definitely made an improvement in download and upload speeds and better range throughout the house. Definitely is worth the buy!

Function great, controls not

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Orby was super easy to set up everything worked as it should I use the satellite nodes to plug other items in directly they don’t have Wi-Fi. Coverage was great speed OK. Here’s where the problems come in for parental control there is an annual or monthly fee. Also there was no way to limit device data traffic, for instance gaming computers or VR headsets take a lot of traffic without being able to limit the traffic things like your TVs buffer while you’re trying to Stream movies. Also setting up a schedule for Internet to turn off at certain times seem to be difficult. When contacting Orby with these issues they said they were aware and working on future implementation. But because of these limiting factors I had to switch brands which cost more up front but don’t have annual fees. So if you’re looking for a product I don’t care much about having total control over data limits schedules this is your product and if you have children I don’t mind the annual fee for parental control this will work great for you also.

Easy to Set up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For years, I would call my service provider and ask why I was not getting the 200mps I was paying for. They said it was my equipment, and my son said it was not. I bought and installed the Orbi system and voila, I get more mps than I pay for, day and night, and since I paid for a mesh system that was capable of a much higher mps service level than I currently have, I am prepared for future expansion.
