Worthless !!!

I have had nothing but problems with them since they were purchased 2 years ago. Not worth what was spent. Every time the power goes out the satellites do not reconnect and the main unit only transmits 5gh and no 2.4. Same goes for every time it does a firmware update. I have had to do system reset at least 10 times. I ended up purchasing the Pro support because I have had so many problems and couldn't figure it out myself. And I've spent countless hours on the phone with support. It's truly frustrating that Netgear charges so much for their products but this happens every time they have to power back up. Once everything is up and running they work great but this products should not have this many issues for the price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New orbi System

Upgraded from an older Orbi sytem with conection problems, hope that this one will solve that issue.
Dissapointed, there is no parental controll this router. Why?
My old AC3000 had it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I decided to upgrade my home internet gear to accommodate the increased network demand of a family locked at home due to the pandemic. I had high expectations of this product and I actually bought a NetGear Cable modem to optimize my new setup. After a month of usage, I am really disappointed with the instability and the buggy app that manages the setup. I am having to reboot the router daily and sometimes multiple times a day. Even the cable modem became flaky. One would expect a seamless integration between devices made by the same vendor. Today, I wasted an hour in the morning resetting the cable modem and/or the router. I attempted to call Support and the experience was pathetic and frustrating, being bounced around and almost 2 hours of waiting to get to someone that was able to help. I am planning on returning the product and buy something more stable. I can summarize my review by saying that this product performs high, but unstable and the management app/web portal are buggy. I didn’t expect this from a brand like NetGear.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just hooked up my Orbi. It took 10 minutes tops! It was so easy. Our house is a uniques layout with a fire wall in between our router and the office. I can't believe the difference now that I have a satellite in this office. This thing cooks!!!

Had many difficulties setting up devices like multiple Xbox’s and others (double NAT) despite making reservations and opening ports. No Armor or Circle, AS ADVERTISED. Old tri-band system (Rbr50) works great with all of these items! I went back to it as this isn’t ready for “prime time”...

Great speed, poor features

I bought this with a bare minimum of research after numerous complaints from my family that the wifi kept dropping. I like the signal strength I now get throughout the house, but the lack of ANY basic parental controls or time based scheduling is ridiculous for a premium WiFI6 mesh network. My 4 year old ASUS router allowed me to turn off any device on a preset schedule without having to pay for a Circle subscription. Once that feature is added, I would change my rating to 5 stars.

my home office was at far end of the house from the cable router - no issues now. Love the extra ethernet ports on the satellite.

Smooth wifi6, tri-band, no hiccup mesh router!

Best investment I've made so far on the router. It's been a week and no drop in connection noticed. With working from home and family streaming content throughout the day, my previous router couldn't keep up and there were frequent disconnects / slow speed. With this new router not only I was able to get the full speed from ISP but also seamlessly connect upto 40 devices and extend the coverage in my backyard with mesh setup. This allowed me to connect wireless security camera in my backyard without issues. Now I can work from my backyard! So far happy with the product and would recommend to my friends and family. Not really a downside but this router's price is on the higher end but this is the best price I could find with wifi6, tri-band and mesh capabilities.
Maybe I missed but I can't seem to find parental controls and bandwidth assignment (2.4 or 5) options to specific devices from the app. Just need to figure out how to do that.
So far happy with the product!
