Orbi was very difficult to set up and I'm very experienced IT person (worked in IT for more than 14 years). I don't like being forced to use an "app" to set up the system and being forced into accepting the 30 day trail for Orbi's Bitdefender security system. I'm more than capable of going to the internal IP address of the Orbi and configuring my network. I've also had some problems with occasional slowness or even pausing when using laptop or my Peloton (and to be clear, I live alone so no other devices are on the network at the same time). Had to call Netgear support twice to get complete the initial setup... honestly, I knew more than they did. So, while once it was finally setup, it does work very well... if given the option I would have researched some other options before deciding to purchase. Again, now that it's setup it performs well... but given BitDefender (which I DO NOT want) and setup issues... I would maybe try another brand.
