Needs software update

Had for a week now and seems to be working just fine. Great range. The app that net-gear has you download to setup the WiFi does not work for setup. Would be nice if it had some parental control that is built in and not a subscription especially for the price.

NETGEAR Orbi whole home Tri band mesh was a outstanding choice for me and my friends. This system has been excellent up to this point and I have talked 6 of my closest friends into getting this system as well. WE all are very satisfied with the results of this system. Thanks

Fast, Easy and Secure

I bought this to replace my existing, old Wi-Fi AP. Setup fast and easy, being completed within 30 minutes. An unexpected bonus is that this is really also a security solution, providing device vulnerability scans, DLP, malicious site blocking and more. Very happy with my new Orbi system.

Good Not Great

So far I like the system even though it was a massive pain to configure initially. It took 4 hours to get the system to connect and update the satellites. The phone app was useless and I eventually manually configured everything. For a premium price this should be a much better experience. Additionally, the app is functional but really needs to have some more advanced features available. Port forwarding and IP reservations require logging into the router through a browser. Disappointed in the need for a subscription for parental filtering. Once set up things seem to be working as expected.

Worth Every Penny

The Orbi wifi system is hands down the best. Our old home with plaster walls doesn’t play nice with most wifi routers/mesh systems, but our building materials are no match for the Orbi. It’s worth every penny.
