Fast and simple set up

After using 4 Airport extremes (which are now outdated) and not getting speeds any higher than 400 on my 1.3 Gigabit Comcast plan...The Orbis are a welcome change! I am getting speeds of 850 to over 1Mbps on the 5ghz channel consistently -not only on the router, but from the satellites as well. NO drop outs, and more consistent coverage across the board! I am very pleased with the system.

Right out of the box this performed flawlessly with absolutely simple setup, but has many options to tweak it further. Doubled my speed over AC and more than doubled my area of coverage.

This WiFi mesh system is amazing! I connected the router to my internet modem and a satellite in the basement and upstairs. Not only did the Orbi boost my WiFi speed from 500 mbps to 615 mbps but I got that same speed throughout the entire house (before it never went above 100 mbps). I also tested at the street, about 150 ft from the router and got 515 mbps. This system has blown me away.

Great Upgrade

In December of 2017 I got the Google WiFi Mesh routers and they worked great. A few weeks ago one of my mesh routers started to have a weak signal and my speeds started to slow down. I started to research different Mesh systems and although the Netgear Orbi AX4200 cost more than replacing with another Google Nest WiFi router the Netgear Orbi came up as a better and faster replacement. I have a couple cellphone that have Wi-Fi 6 and they seem faster with app updating and web browsing. Setup was easy and took minutes and is pretty simple to work. I would recommend it to family and friends.

This wifi system covers my 3200 square foot house plus my shop and mother in law cabin which are on opposite ends of my property!!

I’ve always been a huge fan of NETGEAR products. The Orbi Tri-band Mesh WiFi 6 works like a charm. I work from home and it definitely gave our home a needed boost. With kids doing virtual learning, this was a much needed product and very much worth it. I highly recommend this product!
