Wishful Thinking

I really wanted this to work but no such luck. Followed instructions. But could not get my wireless Epson 845 to connect after dozens of attempts. Also only had marginal improvement in signal strength for streaming in a room that had a satellite hub right next to the TV . The hub was within 35 feet of the main router. Had to bring it back.

replaced 8 yr old router, wow why did i wait so long. Super easy install and setup. 1800 sq ft ranch now has complete coverage, even to my back yard shed ! Expensive but i think worth every penny.

The Orbi was the easiest to setup of any Wi-Fi system I’ve ever had. Hooking up a system always required me to get someone over to help link the satellite up because I don’t know how. I pay for 400 mbs and when I did speed tests, on average would be in neighborhood of 40 upload and 12- download speeds. I hooked up Orbi and paired the satellite up with it and consistently getting 425 mbs download speeds and 25 upload. I feel like 99% of my buffering problems disappeared. Definitely recommend this to anyone.

Glitchy set up, weird security error so-so support

Same SSID for 2.4 and 5.0 wi-fi bands.

This 750 system uses the same SSID for 2.4 and 5.0 wi-fi bands. You are unable to choose which band you connect to. This is a problem when your smartphone chooses 5.0 and you are configuring a camera or other device that is only 2.4 capable and must be on the same band as your phone for setup.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

4x Speed Increase

I work remotely doing a lot of screensharing and demonstrations. Because of that, I need a fast and stable connection. I was using a single router/modem for my entire house, but after a recommendation I decided to try out the Orbi system. Doing a speed test, the results were immediately recognizable as my speeds quadrupled just by hooking the system up. I had some issues initially and had to work with Support who were fantastic and immediately and thoroughly helpful. I couldn’t recommend this enough.
