I originally purchased the Asus Zen Wifi. It was fast, the security tools was excellent but I still had a dead spot in an area of my house. House is 3 floors with 40 devices. I returned the ASUS and bought Orbi. Orbi provides better coverage to all areas of my house but the speed and the app/security features is better on the ASUS.

This mesh network has been impressive so far with both coverage and speed tests. The integrated Armor security is also good so far. Hopefully their firmware updates are smoother than Bitdefender Box 2.

Outstanding coverage!

My house is 3,000 square feet and two story. The cable modem is upstairs where both computers and one tv are located. I had a 5 year old netgear wifi router upstairs and a small extender downstairs for the two tvs down there. Often the signal strength was weak and the tvs downstairs would buffer. I’d have to reboot everything fairly regularly. After buying the Orbi mesh system, no more buffering. No more rebooting! I get full wifi signal throughout the house that extends to the sidewalk in front of the house and half way through the backyard before any loss of signal at all. To say I’m pleased with the coverage and speed of the Orbi system is an understatement. It really works well all over the house and in the yard too!
