Doubled my speed!!! I’m finally getting what I pay for. I purchased 800mbps speeds and was averaging 450mbps… with the Orbi I’m averaging 950mbps wifi not hardlined

Great range and speed

The router is great. The range doubled compared to my old router and so did the speed. I would give it a 4.6 overall because I did have some issues with the setup process via the mobile app. In the end I had to log in to the router from my desktop using the routers IP address listed on NETGEAR’s tech support page.

Great WiFi router

This setup surpasses my expectations. I’m getting hard wired speeds on all my WiFi devices now. It provides way more WiFi coverage than I had before with just a single nighthawk router. It will provide ample speeds should my internet speed get faster.

I used to have the google mesh system but started having issues. After doing some research I switched to the Orbi and couldn’t be happier, the WiFi speed more than doubled and I haven’t had a single problem.

Resolving WiFi issues

Despite having switched providers, and having superb (500Mbs plus) throughput from Verizon, I was still having severe internet speed degradation throughout my home. In a last ditch effort to resolve the problem I purchased the Orbi WiFi 6 system. The installation process was uneventful (as it should be) and the results were nothing short of spectacular. Clocking speeds in excess of 300Mbs throughout my home allows for all connections (hulu, Netflix, etc., not to mention Zoom and other business applications) to be fast, crisp and enjoyable. I highly recommend this product.

This have been my second attempt at a WiFi 6 mesh system the first being the linksys velop ax4200 which kept dropping connection after returning the linksys I purchased the orbi WiFi 6 mesh which has only one access point and rhe orbi gave me tasters speeds without one access point comparing to the linksys with 2 access points I have been blown away with performance and security….ps please add home kit compatibility.
