Excellent Upgrade to Single Router

I replaced a NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 with this Orbi Mesh WiFi 6 system and am very happy with the upgrade. Set up was easy with the app and the ability to monitor/check status from a smart phone is great. Coverage in my home is much better in all rooms and even outside on the deck. A second TV in the kitchen works much faster with streaming Netflix, Hulu, etc. Speed is more consistent in all locations. It even fixed disconnect issues with a smart sprinkler timer. I highly recommend this mesh system.

It was time for a whole system upgrade and now I have internet all over the house and all over the front and back yard. That means I can enjoy my tablet while out on the hanging swing and with the tank like security I do not worry.

Easy Setup

The set up on the orbi is simple and the speeds are quick and reliable. The reason this has a four star rating is the Orbi app. There have been times where I am connected to the wifi network and the application is unable to connect. It would also be great if I could set up groups of devices that I could pause access for (kids).

Major upgrade

So happy we upgraded to the Orbi WiFi6 mesh network at home. I have one set up in my business and it’s amazing, so happy to have it at our house as well. Immediately saw major improvements in signal strength and speeds. You cannot go wrong with an Orbi WiFi6 network, either the AX4200 (which is what I’m currently writing about for my home) or the AX6000 (which is the model I have at my business).
