My orbi

This was a simple install to replace my nighthawk. Set up if the Orbi and it’s satellite took only about 1/2 an hour. I have forty-two device so reconnecting them took an additional 2 hrs. Buffering is gone and I’ve seen improvements in stability and connection speed.

Awesome router Orbi AX4200 RBR750, upgraded from Netgear R7000 Nighthawk. Orbi blows the Nightwawk away with speed and coverage. Easy to set up as well. Only Down side My Circle Parental controls no longer work and there is currently no replacement.

It works as advertised! however I took off 1 star as the setup instructions were only for the mobile app. I think it should also have included configuration from a wired client via a web browser.

Second Orbi system for me. I was struggling big time with WIFI in an apartment with devices (eg, Sonos) not having a reliable connection. All issues disappeared after replacing the other router with Orbi.

Inconsistent Speed

The app based system is very user friendly and easy to use. It’s also easy to get your devices connected. The only thing I’m disappointed about is the huge difference in speed between the main router and the satellite. It is advertised to cover 5000 sq. ft. as if the speed would be the same and it is not. Other than that, it works as advertised.

Seamless and fast

I switched from 2.4Ghz connection to 5Ghz for the first time through this mesh router setup. Even though reviews were mixed in multiple sites stating issues with firmware, after setting this up and updating to latest firware,, I am getting a solid connection all through my house (~1.8k sqft. Wifi as fast as wired connection (250Mbps wave broadband). Money well spent.
