Great WiFi and MIMO functionality

Orbi is a de facto standard for mesh systems that solves a huge problems on other systems where if you move while connected your signal strength will be reduced until you reconnect and the system can adjust to you new physical location. With this system, I have a constant connection walking around my house and yard. Plenty of bandwidth for video conferencing, streaming video, and gaming with lots of people connected. Great product

I switched out my Nighthawk RAX45 for the Orbi Mesh system. Here’s the skinny: the speeds are about the same,—in fact everything is about the same, EXCEPT the coverage. The satellites enable you to obtain better coverage in areas that previously had weak/bad coverage. It was difficult to adjust to not having the ability to specify what devices connect to which bandwidth. You can only have 1 network name. I wish I would have understood this better prior to switching over as I had to reconnect all of my devices on my 2.4 GHz network just because you can only choose one network name. SO, if you have your 2.4 and 5 GHz networks named differently, (or if your router does this automatically), my best advice is to pick the network name that has the most devices connected to it and then reconnect the others. The Orbi Mesh network automatically selects the bandwidth for each device. You don’t have any choice, which is okay,—just different to get used to. Also, some devices may have to be upgraded, (such as printers), in order to connect. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and love the ease of managing my network with the app. As a bonus, this comes with 1 year of Bitdefender for your router and all devices attached, which is really nice!

I recently installed a new Orbi mesh system, 1 router and 2 satellites. Could NOT be happier! Setup was very easy, speeds are fast, and coverage is phenomenal. I highly recommend the Orbi!

Simple System

I purchased the Orbi to create a mesh network on a three story house. First initial setup was not to complicated. Download the App and the system finds the satelights. Change the Name and set a passowrd. The only problem I had was the app was not allowing the system to go past the firmware updates. Resorting to signing in online and going through the process there allowed for me to complete the setup. Once that was complete the system continues to be very easy for anyone to put into place.

MUCH NEEDED UPGRADE!

The router that our internet company provided was not even making it up the stairs, so we upgraded to the Orbi Router and (1) Satellite and the entire house not only has signal, but has GREAT signal! The setup was a bit of a hassle, but we are overall ecstatic about the results! - 3000 Sq. Ft. House, 2 Acres, 3 floors, GREAT WIFI!
