So far, so good. But I wish there were a small light at the front to show the system is working. I changed from an Apple Time Capsule (served as router and backup) that had a little light - green is all ok, yellow if something awry. This would be so easy for Orbi to have!

We recently moved to a two story house and my older router wasn’t cutting it. Originally, getting WiFi speeds up to 3-4 Mbs have now gone up to about 250-300 Mbs on a 400 Mbs cable internet connection. The security features are really nice as I get pinged on the app any time a new device connects to the network. My only concern is all the data that goes back to Netgear for these services. How much you data collection is going on and how are they using it?

Great wifi but armour is disappointing

The wifi works great. I have a three story townhome and I have full home coverage. I use the satellite in my office and get great coverage in there.

Devices were time-consuming to set up. Needed to download alternative installation instructions from service provider, which required re-setting the router and satellites twice. Software had several bugs that required downloading updated versions twice. Highly recommend setting up the router and satellites in the same room, then relocating them to needed locations in the home.

Excellent bandwidth

I purchased the home and one satellite in search of better WiFi throughout our 2300 sq ft home. The four of us have our own devices and can access whatever streaming service each prefers with ease. We’ll be getting a few more satellites to fill the rest of the house with seamless WiFi coverage. Setup with existing satellite internet router was super easy. I am writing this next to a Orbi satellite located roughly 90 feet from the home station. Yes, we definitely recommend the Orbi 6!

Speed as advertised. Don’t expect full speed when going through several walls. On my 4000sqft home on same floor of router get only about 50mbs from 1000G. But most locations close to 200-300. Depends also on how new the device you are connecting. New MacBook Pro connecting at full speed one floor down and opposite side of house. Love the app and can manage network from anywhere remotely. Easy to set up.
