Expanded Home WIFI

Purchased Orbi to expand WIFI through a large home. Excellent performance so far. I did have to call NETGEAR helpline as my unit was not connecting to the internet thru modem (modem was also a router) so I believe a bridging issue. Quick resolution by NETGEAR technical people.

Orbi AX4200 Mesh Routers

So far I’m loving this system! I previously had the first generation Google mesh system that I really liked, but I’ve never reached the speeds I was paying for. The Orbi app is very easy to use, and I really like it’s features such as speed tests. The only issue I’ve had ended up being on my end. The Orbi’s stopped working working and I rebooted several times thinking it was a router issue. I finally noticed that the Ethernet cable on the modem was pulled out just enough to lose connection.

Good coverage, nice features

I have many IoT devices in my smart home and run heavy cloud services and streaming. The Orbi rig runs well, was an easy setup, and the wireless back haul is surprisingly effective. I am impressed.

Great Mesh Needs HD Support

Love the total home coverage and the ORBI app makes setup, configuration and management a breeze. I had a Nighthawk X4 previously, it had USB ports for LAN disk drive support, which was very useful.
