Parental Controls Needed

The Orbi RBR750 is a great product. It was easy to install, but we had to update some wireless router adapters on our laptops before we could see our network. It works a lot better than our old router. We have two kids that have xboxes, another kid that FaceTimes most the day with no “lagging” as they say. We also have a number of smart TVs and mobile devices in the house. We are really enjoying the connectivity! The only downside is that this Orbi doesn’t have compatible paternal controls we can use with it yet. We were using the Disney Circle 1st generation with our old router and was able to put our kids on time limits and controlled what they are watching and searching. Hopefully Netgear is working on new firmware that will allow parental controls soon. So if the parental controls are something you desire, you might want to do a little more searching. Some of the other Orbi models do have the Disney Home Plus Circle combined in the system, so be on the lookout for those models.

good coverage

I used this to gain some distance in wifi coverage I am now able to get wifi in my shop it works good and easy to install

The only issue I see is the delayed connection to another satellite or router as you roam from room to room.

This thing WORKS

As with many homes, my wife and I are adding more and more connected devices. Our sons room proved to be a significant dead zone, and this mesh system not only cleaned that up, but also is showing us to run at speeds faster than what I’m payng my ISP for!
