Excellent!

I pay for 200mg service. Prior to Orbi Mesh I was getting 90 Mg speed in room with router and 20 to 30 Mg speed in furthest points. Now I get 200 Mg through 90% of house and 190 Mg at furthest points.

Orbi is a winner

Bought my new Orbi system and was impressed by the simple set up. Totally hassle free and easy. Now whats really amazing, it really works. I have WiFi everywhere in my house and yard - just as it was described. This product is outstanding, the Orbi system exceeded my expectations and for the first time everyone in my household is happy with how the connections are seamless.

Parental Controls Pls?

Got the RBK753 and pleased with the speed and coverage. But where are the parental controls? Disappointing that mesh systems at have the price have more options than this one does. I got an email from Netgear yesterday telling me to download the parental control app only to find out this is still not supported. Something is not right

Performs great once you get through the setup

This is a really solid consumer grade WiFi. The guided configuration is a bit too simplified for any advanced setup. Once you get around the initial setup and have more direct access to features and configuration it performs great and is well worth the additional expense over more traditional home WiFi.

Overall pleased, with some small frustration

I recently purchased the Orbi Whole Home Tri-Band WiFi 6 system with one base station and 2 satellite units for my 2 level 4,000 sqft home. This was based on the reviews that I read and articles from the various tech review website. I purchased the Orbi to replace my prior couple year old Netgear Nighthawk dual band WiFi router that completely failed. I had read a lot about the mesh networks, and had some prior experience in helping a friend setup their home with the Google/Nest mesh network and was impressed with the speed and performance that system improved and upgraded their prior older system. Ultimately is was the reviews and newer tech that the Orbi system offered, as the Google/Nest mesh network has yet to update to WiFi 6. And while a lot of the supported devices are really just now becoming more widely available, I feel secure in my purchase that I’m ready to go as devices catchup and won’t be left behind and left with out of date equipment. Installing and setup of the Orbi was fairly easy and streamlined. I gave this review 4 stars instead of 5 as I had some pairing and connectivity issues not locating one of the satellites as quickly as the other satellite unit. Which ultimately worked itself out after a couple stops and restarts of the installation process, and located without moving or changing location of the satellite unit giving me some resistance to pairing seamlessly. The network is up and working well now for a couple weeks. And the performance and speeds are very apparent and noticeable with how much better it has allowed my same internet service I had previously with my older Nighthawk router to work and operate. Numerous speed tests both thru the Orbi app and other speed test options are producing right at or slightly exceeding my internet plan thru my provider. No more buffering, or slow, loss connection issues, with rock solid signal throughout my house now in all areas. All in all, I’m very pleased with my purchase. And would recommend the Orbi AX4200 Mesh System to anyone. I am somewhat displeased with the additional service costs to continue the security or other tech support options given the cost for the system. I would have hoped that these options would have been included. So this is somewhat annoying and something I wasn’t aware of until going thru the installation process after the purchase. If your on the fence about this system. You won’t regret it for the performance, unless you aren’t wanting to pay for the security or premium support. Which I haven’t had to experience the standard support yet for this system. So perhaps my opinion may change if I run into issues and find a less than adequate support service with how I’m setup currently. But if that’s the case, I did purchase thru Costco who’s return policy is amazing, and if to frustrating for issues dealing with tech support I will return for a different system without the cumbersome headaches of frustrations I have now read thru some other users experiences. Again, speed and performance are great, but I have yet to experience a full top to bottom experience of having to deal with tech support for issues.

Product is easy to setup. I use this in an apartment building to hit multiple units between the 16th and 18th floor. Concrete construction. Spans multiple floors with no issues.
