Easy to set up hardware and software

Really Easy

I have used Netgear products in the past but this was my first use of the mesh network and it was great. Once I downloaded the app and attached the router and satellites to power it was quick. It took more time to run the cables and attach all the devices to my network than it was to set up the Orbi. The WiFi coverage is great. I have the router and two satellites that covers my entire two story 2600 sq.ft. home, even my front and back yards. I have no issues with either the 2.4GHz or the 5GHz signal and all 30 devices I have attached to the network have been stable. I highly recommend this product.

Very happy with our purchase

This really surprised us how well it works! It also was beyond easy to set up. It isn’t often you get something these days and it works the way it is supposed to and doesn’t take a headache to set up. I would definitely recommend. We compared this to a few other options and if I could encourage everyone to get this one over those, I would.

not good with wired printers

The Orbi from a WiFi prespective works great but I have wired printers and computer workstations. To install, I simply move the three CAT5 cables from my old router to the Orbi. Computer connections worked fine along with one printer. However, it doesn;t sem to hold the IP connection to my Brother H-5250DL laser printer. Called support they dropped me after an hour holding on the line.
