The Orbi delivered as promised. Great coverage, wireless only, of a 7000 ft home in 2 levels, including outdoor. Impressive 500 Mbits up and down over wifi on an incoming supply of 1G.

Great coverage and easy set-up

Our Apple router was showing it’s age as we added more devices to our network. Researched the Orbi AX6000 and felt it was more than we needed to spend. Researched and found the AX4200, bought it and were are very happy with the performance as well as the easy set up. The Wizard walked me through the set-up and everything just worked. Took me about 20 minutes from start to finish. Also appreciate the virus and spam protection. Great purchase.

It’s amazing what this new technology has impacted my family in terms of school online, work at home and others during this pandemic time. It is very pretty straightforward to setup, security is decent and the speed this device is amazing. However, the only downside I can think of (is not a big deal), they removed the feature; disabling your SSID out in the public. If someone who has the expertise to sniff your network, it doesn’t matter. I don’t think you will regret spending a little more with this piece of device.

I use my router for everything to home security cameras, smoke detectors, thermostat, to my Peleton Bike and all of that data traffic combined with computers works perfectly. I am extremely happy with the upgrade.
