I have owned this Refrigerator for 16 months now and have been happy with it until 2 weeks ago when it quit cooling and freezing and stuff started melting out on the floor! Never expected it to quit quite this soon. And it wouldn’t be so bad if there was any service offered! I bought a contract on this unit and you can’t get anyone to service it! Are these things just supposed to be disposable after just 16 months or what? I need a refrigerator that I can depend on. Guess GE is not it!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Unit motor is really loud, bottom freezer door needs an alarm if not all the way closed!!!

My husband has commented several times how much he enjoys the lighting in refrigerator. I enjoy how much product we can get in our new refrigerator and we both love having the ice maker in the bottom of our refrigerator. It keeps our food cold just how we like it. It is a good refrigerator for us

Perfect fit in my new kitchen!

I went with the counter depth GE refrigerator with the ice maker in the freezer, it is the fingerprint free stainless steel model that actually matches all the GE appliances that came with my new home. It has plenty of room and adjustable shelves in the door that holds my oversized Sun tea jug.
I would recommend this to a friend!
