So much space

Such a huge step up from our old side-by-side. More space, not as deep, better features and SPACE. Our fridge almost looks empty with the same amount of food we used to have in our old fridge.

Not happy with several things

The seals on the doors are so tight that when I try to open the freezer, the entire fridge moves. I have to constantly move the fridge back in place and you need lots of muscle to finally get the freezer door open. Also, the top doors do not close without lots of pushing. The freezer compartment is a joke. The top tray does not pull out far enough so there are items in the back that are not visible without bending way down to see them. All the rest of the items must be piled on top of each other, blocking the view of many items. I absolutely HATE the freezer!! The top of the fridge is great, but that does not make up for the issues with the freezer. I don't recommend this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi - We're so sorry to hear you are not pleased with the freezer on your beautiful new refrigerator. This is not the owner experience we want for you. You are correct regarding the door gaskets. It is possible due to the size of the doors and the strength of the door gaskets, for the refrigerator to roll or move when one of the doors is opened. Since the rollers/wheels do not lock in place, it may help to place a piece of wood (shim), a small wood wedge, or plastic furniture coaster (with felt on the bottom) under the wheels to prevent rolling. Then re-level the refrigerator if needed. We would recommend having the refrigerator door checked by service as it should not be that difficult to close. Please call 1-800-432-2737 M-F 7am-10pm, Sat 8am-6pm, Sun 8am-6pm EST to schedule an appointment. Wish it had filtered water!

The refrigerator looks nice and sleek. I do wish it had filtered water. I also wish it had a basket in the freezer door for storage. It can hold a lot overall.

Good fridge

This is our first 3 door fridge and there is so much extra space, it’s really nice! The only downfall is one of the brackets was not install correctly and it shakes the elves a lot.

GE refrigerator

I really like the size. Fits beautifully in my spot. Food seems to be keeping longer then in my old frig .Love the adjustable shelving. Cons. kind off noisy and freezer door is hard to pull open.

Best decision to continue with GE!

I have owned GE appliances for our entire 40 year marriage so I decided to stick with GE for our brand new retirement home. I love all the features and the lighting in both fridge and freezer is awesome. The ease of opening freezer drawers is especially helpful as we age in place. Love the darker stainless color which "pops" with my cream cabinets. We bought a suite of GE appliances due to our experience of GE dependability.
