New Refrigerator

Love the new GE refrigerator. You can open either door on top, no having to always open one to open the other. Had a side by side before and hated how narrow it was. This refrigerator is the same size but has tons of room because of the shelves in the door. And I can put a party tray or fry pan in the refigerator no problem.Still trying to get the plastic wrap out of the cracks and it is hard to do.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Looking Refrigerator

First, we really like it. The frig looks great. The controls are easy to use, and it keeps things cold. It has taken some time to adjust to the deeper door shelves and shallower internal shelves. This may be a function of only having conventional refrigerators before. The only negative is it's hard to organize the drawer freezer which makes it difficult to find things. The freezer capacity seems small as well. That said, I recommend this product if you want a counter depth, french door refrigerator.

A nice compact size providing good storage space

We replaced a larger stainless steel GE unit with this one because it fit our cabinet depths better and had a finish that is easier to keep clean. Although we miss the ice/water on outside of the door, we sacrificed that option to gain internal storage space. Very satisfied with our choice. GM might stress the use of the anti-tilt plate during installation; our installer put that in and it also keeps the unit from sliding out when opening the bottom freezer drawer.
The unit it replaced was still working well after about 7 years service and now has a home with a friend where it is still functioning well.

looks great in the kitchen. Only thing is that the finger print resistance is not that great, it does help some.
