This product comes with NO instructions!!! It needs to at least let you know to expect to chill 24 hours and how long to dump the ice before it is safe to use. So poor!! My ice was dark gray..almost black!
I would recommend this to a friend!

We can understand having a manual copy can be a lot easier. We no longer provide printed instructions in order to be better ambassadors of the environment, however, you can always find the Owner’s manual at this link here: https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--LQP2fFIF--/iddljrrb4tv5ltd0im5c.pdf?_ga=2.94102813.1683821160.1718629474-1676878804.1700237661
If the ice cubes are black, we recommend changing the water filter. For more information, please refer at this link here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17758
Its junk. Freezer is set to -5 degF, and it is running at 27 degF. It's only 3 years old.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
