GE Refrig

Good except for 3 things: 1. Freezer compartment difficult to open - takes both hands. 2. Unit rolls forward when opening Freezer compartment - should have caster locks rather than having to drop leveling feet. 3. Climate Zone single compartment in Refrigerator should be two separate units so both refrigerator doors are not required to be opened to access it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The compressor went in 1 Month NO FRIDGE FOR 2
on September 22, 2022

from Grand Rapids, MI
Bought this fridge. The compressor went within a month. I was told the refrigerant changed and caused the compressor to fail. A friend with a similar fridge said they heard it was a known problem and it would fail between two weeks and 6 months. It wouldn't be too big of a deal, but it takes a week or so to get someone out to diagnose it and another week or so to get the parts and repair it. If they know it's a problem, fixe it prior to selling it or send the first repair person with all of the parts. Not fun

I’ve had this refrigerator for the past year and a half and it’s already stopped cooling and freezing. We checked all possible components that would causes and they seem to be working fine. We reset it, turned it off, and waited 24 hours. The temperature still remain high. I thought GE was a quality brand. Very disappointed
