Very functional style

Counter depth style fits and looks great, French door with lower freezer is better than our previous side by side unit. Stainless steel is nice., however some of the shelving summed very cheap quality. We have doubts that this refrigerator will function for 17 years like our old GE side by side . But overall we like it a lot and we are happy with our purchase .
I would recommend this to a friend!

Our brand new GE refrigerator can't keep a constant cold temp. We have it set at 34* and it runs 39-46*! Our appliance store has been out twice.
Just put in a new motherboard...no difference. He was going to call GE to see what to do next.

Beautiful and spacious design

I love the design in general, the only reason I give four start is the locking door system., The left door has to close first in order to fully close the refrigerator. The locking mechanism is weird and it should be independent per door.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good News/Bad News

This fridge is much smaller than I thought it would be. I was told I would have running cold filtered water, which is available in the larger, model. I didn't find out until delivery that my model, the counter depth, doesn't have that luxury. All the shelves and bins are much smaller than my last fridge which was also a counter depth model. I don't know why this one is so small inside. I do like the large gallon size storage in the doors and the layout of the freezer. I also appreciate the fact that the ice maker keeps the ice coming constantly. I hate the tons of plastic that needs to be pulled out of every inch of metal lining this fridge. Take it off before delivery.
