The sticky film??

The refrigerator seems fine. I am a little annoyed that the refrigerator came wrapped in some type of green seran wrap type packaging to protect it, which is fine, but I have been unable to remove it completely with out damaging the refrigerator. There are little pieces of it stuck in the joints of the handle and all creases.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Happy to be back to a French Door unit!

I had a Kenmore Treo French Door fridge for a good 15 years until it finally cost too much to repair. We then moved to a home that had an older GE Profile side by side. While the timing of ordering a refrigerator during a supply chain disaster was difficult (options are limited and delays are expected), I am very happy to be back to a functional French Door Refrigerator. I had to go counter depth which definitely limits my space, especially in the freezer. I do like the amount of space in the refrigerator door buckets - they will hold gallons of milk and/or juice with no issue. I wish this fridge had a water spigot in the refrigerator. There is ice in the freezer. All things considered, I"m happy with my purchase and time will tell. It's only been a bit over 2 weeks

Finish is fantastic! Contemporary clean look! Just what we needed for our kitchen. Counter-depth design made our "small" kitchen appear larger without giving up considerable storage inside.
Maintains temperature and creates clear ice every time. Inside lighting is fantastic.
Only negative - freezer drawer requires considerable pull at times to open it. At times the refrigerator unit will tend to roll when freezer opened if unit is not braced. No inside water dispenser.

Love this Fridge

I love the color (slate black). It's not black black, and it's not black stainless. It's somewhere in between. Hides fingerprints well. There is a LOT of room in the fridge compartment and I love that I can put gallons of milk in the doors. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the Freezer section "squeaks and moans" when I open the door. My husband is hoping to adjust it or grease it somehow so it stops. Also wish the freezer was a tad bigger, but we have an upright freezer as well so not a big deal to me. If you don't have a separate freezer and have a TON of frozen food, you may want to think about this. All in all, I am super happy with this purchase.

Improved the looks of our kitchen BIG TIME!

Just installed today - but our choice was affirmed as soon as it was rolled into place. Black slate is modern and looks great with about anything. Counter depth gives a custom look to the kitchen.
Within 5 hours freezer was at the suggested 0 degrees and the refrigerator section was steady at 37 degrees.
Can't wait to stock it up ....

This refrigerator is a bit smaller than my old model but it seems roomier and things seem more accessible. The lighting is great and it is working well so far. I love the matte finish on the outside and don't have to look at fingerprints. Good purchase in my opinion.

Three MAJOR Repairs So Far...

VERY POOR mf'ring; THREE MAJOR repairs required so far and this thing is just three weeks old! IMO-- GARBAGE! Were this not my wife's selection of refrigerator, it would be out by the curb waiting on trash pickup/disposal!
