I just had my second GE refrigerator installed. I purchased the first one 2 years ago. It completely failed and I had to purchase another. I did not buy protection before. Who thought it would die after 2 years. I only repurchased from GE because I bought a set of appliances together. I wanted it to match.

We have a deep GE Profile refrigerator and we love it. We recently remodeled our kitchen and purchased a counter depth GE profile refrigerator. We plugged it in and it hasn't cooled the inside yet. I have a service appointment scheduled..

Good Counter Depth Fridge

The both the interior and exterior are well done. The interior lighting is excellent. Lots of storage space for a counter depth unit. Unless you use two hands, the left French door is noisy to open and close. There is no butter or egg keeper which I truly miss. Unfortunately, we used the dimensions from the online product manual (specs created 2/20) that do not include the housing for the light wiring on the top. This caused quite a bit of stress and we had to hire a finish carpenter in order to complete the installation. No one could get the ice maker to work until the water filter holder was popped open and closed - must have been a bubble in it?

Love the simplicity of this frig! Black stainless is gorgeous! Only downside, the doors do not swing shut. You have to push them to shut.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Multiple refrigerators were delivered to me over the period of 17 months, 3 repair companies, 5 different techs, multiple parts swapped - well over 18 visits and I have settled with a damage, pieced together, parted out unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
