Replacing a 25 year old GE side by side that gave up the ghost. Didn't owe us anything. This bottom freezer drawer French door refrigerator has highly functional spacing for refrigerator and freezer storage. So pleased that it reached normal running temperatures within 6 hours. Interior lighting, door control panel, and adjustability are great.

I like the fridge - it fits smoothly with the cabinets and counter. The top rim of the fridge is a bit higher than the body of the fridge, so my worry about the space being too tight for the body of the fridge under the top cabinet was unfounded. The two things that I wish I knew about the fridge before buying it (but probably would not have changed my mind about buying the fridge) are: (1) one needs to apply quite a lot of force to pull out the freezer drawer and (2) the fridge doors do not close by themselves. Again, you need to put a bit of force in swinging them closed (or pushing them close) for the doors to seal back, otherwise they just remain cracked open (sure, the fridge alarm will start after a while, but I wish they did not remain open). The fridge is the smudge-free version so the handprints are not as visible, but you can still see them. They wipe off easily enough. Overall, we are happy with the fridge.

Keeps an even temperature throughout the shelves and compartments. Lots more storage capacity than our last counter-depth refrigerator. The doors have to be closed by hand all the way. You can't just give them a shove to close them. The exterior is very easy to keep clean.

We love the function of a french door fridge. Bottom freezer has lots of space, we removed ice basket. This was a serious upgrade from our previous refrigerator!

I wasn't sure if I would like not having the water service and having the ice maker inside the freezer, but the simplicity of it and knowing I won't have to deal with the ice maker breaking, like my two previous refrigerator/freezers, is wonderful! It is smaller than my previous refrigerators as well, but again, I like this because it helps me not over shop.

Did a kitchen remodel and purchased all new kitchen appliances. Dishwasher,Stove,Microwave Hood and Fridge all in black slate. I absolutely LOVE it!
