Everything you could want...

best computer i've ever had. i can run autodesk along with tons of other photo, video, 3d modeling programs. battery lasts forever.

Terrible speakers for a very expensive laptop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i have tried everything and i cannot find a fix for the speakers. at max volume, you can barely hear videos online. if you have a tv program or movie you want to watch, forget about it. everything else about the unit is beautiful and fast. but the lack of real volume is a total deal killer. yes, i can plug in headphones or use bluetooth truly wireless headphones, but why? i want to comfortably listen to great speakers without having something in my ears. not worth it at all for something so expensive.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great All-around laptop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] have had this laptop for a month now and can say it is a great and powerful laptop.
the speakers are not the loudest but definitely adequate for watching videos unless you are severely hearing impaired or in a noisy environment.
ram is absolutely upgradable and a video on how to do it is easily accessible on youtube.
i do some light coding, office 365 apps, low end games, and watch videos on this laptop and never have any issues. the 8gb ram usage does peak a little high sometimes but plan on adding atleast 8gb more.
the battery life is great.
qled screen makes a beautiful, vibrant, and bright display. probably one of my favorite things about this laptop.
the wireless charger in the trackpad has come useful many times.
this is just an awesome, lightweight, and powerful laptop.

- no chance of upgrade since ram is soldered
can't charge the laptop via thunderbolt port, forcing you to carry around a hefty power brick
-this laptop is beautiful, but that's it. better luck next time, samsung!

i am lucky enough to have access to free laptops at work. however, they are cheap and break quickly, and of poor quality. thus, i decided to buy myself an expensive good laptop. i bought this laptop and was initially excited. it is lightweight and the graphics are wonderful! the fingerprint id pad broke within weeks. my screen broke and stopped functioning while away on a work trip. please note, i did not drop it or damage it, it just stopped functioning. i sent it in for repair. now, only a month later and the screen does not function again. i almost wish they would just refund my money, take this terrible laptop back, and i can purchase something else. maybe i just got a lemon, but i say, stay away! zero stars!
